Pico de Gallo Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 medium tomatoes, diced

  • 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped

  • 1-2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped onion, and jalapeño peppers.

  2. Add the chopped cilantro and lime juice to the bowl.

  3. Season with salt to taste, and mix well to combine all ingredients.

  4. Let the mixture sit for at least 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

  5. Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, quesadillas, or grilled meats.

Notes:

  • Adjust the spiciness by adding more or fewer jalapeños.

  • You can also add diced avocado for a creamier texture.
